Festival of DESECE Children’s

The Children’s Festival

The Children's Festival of the DESECE began in 2010, aiming at the opening of the university towards the local community and strengthening bonds between the children, the teachers, the parents, the kindergartens, the university students and the university. It is held annually for one week (late May - early June) and its activities, with primarily an educational focus, take place on the premises of the Department.

After 8 years of annual events, more than 6000 children have already participated in creative workshops, and almost 1000 students had the chance to experiment and put into practice all the things that they are taught. They were able to work with each other and take responsibility in creating a “collaborative community”.

Responsible for the coordination of the festival is the Organising Committee, composed of students and one university teacher. However, the students of DESECE play the most important role, since they are the ones who voluntarily carry out the actions of the festival and ensure its impeccable conduct.
