The Organizing Committee of the 13th Children's Festival invites you to take part in the Christmas event, which will be coordinated by graduates of D.E.S.E.C.E. of the University of Patras.<\/span>
\n<\/span>One of the most beautiful holidays of the year is approaching and we are waiting for you\u00a0<\/span>Friday, December 17, 2021\u00a0<\/b>and\u00a0<\/span>time 18:00 <\/b>in technological environment of\u00a0<\/span>Zoom<\/b>\u00a0(\u00a0<\/span>https:\/\/upatras-gr.zoom.us\/j\/95377828312?pwd=STJzRExlRlRiYmVEeTQ4bjBlYVF0QT09<\/span><\/a>\u00a0), so that we can \"give the aroma and taste of ginger\" to this year's Christmas!<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

To participate in the event, you only need\u00a0<\/span>your festive mood<\/b>\u00a0and the\u00a0<\/span>preparation of materials<\/b>\u00a0for the creation of Christmas sweets.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the Christmas event, 3 actions will take place. The program follows the following course, as designed by the coordinators Sarris Giorgos and Tsiomou Agathi:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Ginger beer creation<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Ginger beer creation<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Retelling of the traditional story of the Gingerbread Man<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    For the<\/span>\u00a0Ginger beer<\/b>, you will need to have the following materials and utensils with you:<\/span><\/p>\n

    Materials:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • ginger beer<\/span><\/li>\n
    • pineapple juice<\/span><\/li>\n
    • a lime<\/span><\/li>\n
    • a cinnamon stick<\/span><\/li>\n
    • mint<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Utensils:<\/b><\/p>\n

        \n
      • a shaker<\/span><\/li>\n
      • colander (small)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

        For the cookies <\/span>Gingerbread Man<\/b>, you will need to have the following materials and utensils with you:<\/span><\/p>\n

        Materials:<\/b><\/p>\n

        • 300 gr. flour<\/span><\/li>\n
        • slat<\/span><\/li>\n
        • baking soda<\/span><\/li>\n
        • powdered ginger<\/span><\/li>\n
        • cinnamon powder<\/span><\/li>\n
        • 50 gr. unsalted butter<\/span><\/li>\n
        • 100 gr. Brown sugar<\/span><\/li>\n
        • 100 gr. honey<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Utensils:<\/b><\/p>\n

          • a bowl<\/span><\/li>\n
          • oven pan<\/span><\/li>\n
          • greaseproof paper<\/span><\/li>\n
          • rolling pin<\/span><\/li>\n
          • cutter or some glass to create different shapes<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
