16th Children's Festival of D.E.S.E.C.E. has arrived!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Starting tomorrow, June 2nd, and running until Friday, June 6th, from 09:00 to 13:00, the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education will host the Children's Festival for the 16th consecutive year, celebrating the beginning of summer together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, we are delighted to host:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>UNICEF with the workshop \u201cThe Rights of the Child,\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>National Action against Childhood Obesity\u2014coordinated by the University of Patras under the scientific supervision of Emeritus Professor Mr. Michalis Leotsinidis\u2014with the workshop \u201cFood for Action,\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students from the Department of History and Archaeology with the workshops \u201cOrigami\u201d and \u201cThe Little Archaeologists,\u201d under the guidance of Professors Ms. Cleo Gougouli and Ms. Panagiota Pantzou,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students from the Department of Theatre Studies with the theatrical performance \u201cIn Aesop's Land,\u201d under the direction of Professor Ms. Maria Fragi (Theatre for children and young people ).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Parents with preschool-aged children (ages 3\u20137) are welcome to visit and participate for free in the festival's workshops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We
