The 16th Children's Festival of D.E.S.E.C.E. has arrived!

Starting tomorrow, June 2nd, and running until Friday, June 6th, from 09:00 to 13:00, the Department of Educational Sciences and Early Childhood Education will host the Children's Festival for the 16th consecutive year, celebrating the beginning of summer together.

This year, we are delighted to host:

  • UNICEF with the workshop “The Rights of the Child,”
  • National Action against Childhood Obesity—coordinated by the University of Patras under the scientific supervision of Emeritus Professor Mr. Michalis Leotsinidis—with the workshop “Food for Action,”
  • Students from the Department of History and Archaeology with the workshops “Origami” and “The Little Archaeologists,” under the guidance of Professors Ms. Cleo Gougouli and Ms. Panagiota Pantzou,
  • Students from the Department of Theatre Studies with the theatrical performance “In Aesop's Land,” under the direction of Professor Ms. Maria Fragi (Theatre for children and young people ).

Parents with preschool-aged children (ages 3–7) are welcome to visit and participate for free in the festival's workshops.

We look forward to seeing you all, children, parents, educators, and schools for a truly unique experience!
