Christmas workshops from the Children's Festival of D.E.S.E.C.E.

The Organizing Committee of the 12th Children's Festival invites you to take part in the Christmas workshops, which will be coordinated by students of D.E.S.E.C.E. of the University of Patras.
One of the most beautiful holidays of the year is approaching and we are waiting for you Friday 11 December 2020 and 18:00 - 21:00 in technological environment of Zoom ( https://upatras-gr.zoom.us/j/95377828312?pwd=STJzRExlRlRiYmVEeTQ4bjBlYVF0QT09 ), so that we can "meet" together… the spirit of Christmas!

 

For your participation in the workshops, you only need your festive mood and the preparation of materials for the creation of Christmas constructions and sweets.

There will be 3 activities in the Christmas workshop. You can take part in all or some of them! The program follows the following course:

• 18:00-19:00: Christmas cookiesby Margarita Haskoni, a third-year student of D.E.S.E.C.E.
• 19:00-20:00: Christmas 3D cardby Anastasia Katsifi, graduate of D.E.S.E.C.E.
• 20:00-21:00: Christmas pastry ornaments by Vasso Pierratou, graduate of D.E.S.E.C.E.

For your participation in the workshop on χριστουγεννιάτικα μπισκότα, θα χρειαστεί να έχετε κοντά σας τα παρακάτω υλικά (ζυγισμένα) και σκεύη:

Για τη ζύμη:

• 120 γρ ζάχαρη                                                          
• 115 γρ βούτυρο αγελαδινό 
• 40 γρ φυτίνη (τύπου βιτάμ) 
• 1 μεγάλο αυγό(ή 2 μικρά)
• 1 βανίλια
• 1 πρέζα αλάτι
• 1 κοφτή κουταλιά του γλυκού μπέικιν πάουντερ
• 455 γρ αλεύρι
• 1 κοφτή κουταλιά του γλυκού κανέλα (προαιρετικά) 
• 2 γρ τζίντζερ (προαιρετικά)

Για το Royal Icing:

• ασπράδι από 1 αυγό
• 240 γρ άχνη 
• 1 κοφτή κουταλιά της σούπας χυμό από λεμόνι

Επιπλέον υλικά:

• Καραμέλες σκληρές (θρυμματισμένες με μούλτι ή με την βοήθεια ενός πλάστη, ενδεικτικά, https://www.madeingreece.news/proionta/trofima/o-mamy-karameles-apo-veloydo-se-xrwm )
• Σπρινγκλς ή τρούφα χρωματιστή ή διακοσμητικά ζαχαρωτά μικρά 

Utensils:

• Μίξερ
• Κουπάτ ή ποτήρι 
• Πλάστη 
• Ταψί
• Oil glue
• 1 Κατσαρόλα (μικρή)
• 1 Μπολ (ΌΧΙ ΠΛΑΣΤΙΚΟ, για μπεν μαρί)

 

Για τη συμμετοχή σας στο εργαστήριο για τη χριστουγεννιάτικη τρισδιάστατη κάρτα, θα χρειαστεί να έχετε κοντά σας τα παρακάτω υλικά:

• 2 χαρτόνια (για τη βάση της κάρτας & την κατασκευή του περιεχομένου της)
• ψαλίδι
• κόλλα
• μπογιές (ξυλομπογιές, μαρκαδόρους)
• οτιδήποτε άλλο έχετε στη διάθεσή σας και μπορεί να αξιοποιηθεί για την κάρτα σας

 

For your participation in the workshop on χριστουγεννιάτικα ζυμαρένια στολίδια, θα χρειαστεί να έχετε κοντά σας τα παρακάτω υλικά (ζυγισμένα) και σκεύη:

Για τη ζύμη:

• 2 κούπες αλεύρι, για όλες τις χρήσεις
• 1 κούπα αλάτι
• 1 κούπα νερό
• Κανέλα (προαιρετικά)

Utensils:

• Metal cups
• stick / toothpick
• Oil glue
• Baking tray
• Κορδέλα/σπάγκος/πετονιά
• Carnation, allspice, tempera, buttons and everything else you can imagine for decoration
• Oranges, Cinnamon Sticks, if you want to create garlands for the Christmas tree
