Dear first-year students of D.E.S.E.C.E..,
The Children's Festival of D.E.S.E.C.E.. welcomes you to our Department and wishes you a good start in your new beginning, which is the beginning of an enjoyable, educational as well as fun journey.
The Children's Festival of D.E.S.E.C.E. started in 2010 with the aim of opening the University to the local community and creating links between children, teachers, parents, kindergartens, students and the university. The students, in collaboration with the teachers of our Department, plan creative activities and workshops for preschool children who visit us for a week at the end of the spring semester from all the kindergartens and daycare centers in the prefecture us.
This year, the 15th Children's Festival will take place June 3-9, 2024
We therefore invite you to the Annual Welcome to UP 2023, which will be held from October 18 to 22, 2023 on the lawn of the Peace Park at the University of Patras, to get to know us, your fellow students and our Department. In our kiosk there will be educational material that you will come across during your studies.
We are waiting for you to start this year in the best possible way!
